Strike the C 256 Hz and G 384 Hz forks together and you’ll hear the Perfect Fifth, one of the most recognised intervals in music. The two frequencies sit in a pure 3:2 ratio: for every two vibrations of the C fork, the G fork completes three. The waves line up regularly, which gives the interval its smooth, open, consonant sound.

C and G forks are often called Whole Body Tuners. The name reflects how they’re used across a whole session rather than on one area.
